Produced by Grammy Award-winning producer and guitarist Larry Mitchell, the track pairs Caryn’s playful storytelling with an infectious Americana sound and plenty of heart.
SONG SYNOPSIS
Inspired by Caryn’s real-life adventures with Ellie Mae, “Farm Girl” celebrates the spirited personality of a country dog and the bond between people and the animals who become family. The song also carries a special nod to Caryn’s late Australian Shepherd, Wolfus Jones, weaving humor, affection, and remembrance into a feel-good story rooted in real life.
ARTIST BIO
Jeannie Caryn is a Georgia-based singer-songwriter who has been performing throughout North Georgia since 2010. A three-time 2026 International Singer-Songwriters Association (ISSA) finalist, Caryn is nominated for Entertainer of the Year, Female Rising Star, and Female Songwriter of the Year.
Her debut album of original music, MOTHER'S SELF-RISING, was released in 2020 and produced by Grammy Award-winning producer and guitarist Larry Mitchell. Caryn reunited with Mitchell for her 2026 Americana single “Farm Girl,” which received Atlanta radio airplay on NEW COUNTRY 101-FIVE during the station’s Sunday-night local artist feature.
Beyond music, Caryn is the author and illustrator of the pet-lover’s book series THE ADVENTURES OF HUGO THE ROUND PUG and MUSIC SPEAKS, showcase host for live music events, songwriter showcases, and community connection through music.
